Sometimes I just like the look of a shape as in this
old iron bench arm.

Shape is awesome.....and rust junkies could make starships out of it.....BUT being anal-retentive I am going to complain about back ground. Too close that wall, so not helping your cause.
One trick that I learned on Macro forum but haven't deployed it yet is to cary some cards, and make your own perfect bg. Now not sure how big this is if it could be pulled somewhere etc.
Love your work in general......the BUG that was on lift is PERMANENTLY burned in my memory.....something to aspire towards!
    Cheers!!

Thanks for the comment. Not to make an excuse, but it was not possible to
move the bench, and I shot at f/5.3 which blurred the background as much
as possible. I was happy to have the brick wall as a background.

I do carry a black cloth and a white cloth that are 4' x 4' each that I can
use to put behind a subject when needed. I didn't use either here because
    I liked the bricks.

Got it! Artist's choice! Keep it up!
