Waves of Clouds

One morning I walked outside and almost choked on my coffee. The cloud formations were so surreal that they looked 'other worldly'.

The last two I took the liberty of going beyond the lens.

These rock! I love abstracts where one doesn't even have to explain what it is! Colors are wonderful!
Hard to pick but #2 and #3 are my faves!
The last one takes it to whole other level of awesomeness!
The Gargoyle or creatures create a sensation of something devilish and red color is making it work!
They seem to be looking at it....and appear almost worried.:D
I so wish you had left just a tad more space on the right for the last one!
    Great Set!clap.gif

    It certainly is other worldly.

#4 muted version is by pick.

Hi Eia - certainly a case of being in the right place at the right time - #3 and #4 are my picks.

    Cheers, Richard.

I like them all! A cloudy sky often makes for some interesting light.

Great stuff. Clouds here for the most part suck.

Last one. And with the top 2/5ths trimmed off, it would have more dramatic impact - strengthening the composition. Maybe blacken out that little distracting triangle at the bottom left of the right roof?

I like that there is green in some of these. Good eye for catching the clouds like this.

Great set, AnnaMaria. Glad you caught this scene before it all changed.

    Take care,

I'd try flipping a few 180 degrees ... just to see what happens ...

    Ain't that the truth!

    Very nice catch AnnaMaria!
#3 appeals the most to me - colors, saturation, and contrast.
