I keep trying to get in swing of it

While I'm not into exaggerating rust, I like to try things. Here's
an old window sash weight I photographed yesterday and
to which I added a little Rustaholic touch.

However, I actually prefer the normally processed version. No arrangement of
the subject matter was necessary. I saw a pile of sash weights in a salvage
yard, and tossed it down on some old bricks. This is the way it landed.

All I had to do was compose the shot a bit.

Once again, I apologize. This was intended for the Other Cool Shots forum.
For some reason, Dgrin opens to "Documentary" for me every time I open the
program, and I forget to change.

    Mr Moderator...please move this post.

I can tell by the angst in your voice, Tony, that you're a frustrated RUST JUNKIE at heart. You want to dive into the mysteries of rust in the worst way but your professional and staid background keeps holding you back. Go ahead....fall victim to the lure of adventure and you'll discover that RUST RULES is not a hollow proclamation.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

If you know your Greek mythology, Tom, you'll remember the Sirens on the rocks who lured
sailors to their death. Rust is the Siren of photography. Look not just at the Siren, but see
    the whole picture.
