Lightbox removal in Journal

Hi

Sorry if an answer to this has been posted, i couldn't find it if it has.

Can the lightbox be disabled in Journal Gallery style. Ii have added a blog, have used Journal but i dont want the images to be selected. Any help would be appreciated..

    At this time, I'm not aware of a way to disable the Lightbox view, sorry! It might be a better question for the Customization forum, though I've had a look around there, and I'm not seeing that anyone has come up with a way to do that.

    In your case, what I might recommend instead would be to create Pages, instead of galleries. You have much more control over the visual layout, and over each content block when making pages. Pages work well for "blog" style layouts. For example, you can add a series of Single Photo content blocks to a page, with a Text content block beneath each one to mimic the Journal gallery style. You can configure the single photo content blocks so that they are not clickable, so that would be the best way to get a page with larger images (a la Journal gallery style), that won't open in the Lightbox view.
