The hawk and the KF shots are fine. The kestrel is soft. I would say you probably shot it wide open. The eye and the beak look sharp but the body is soft.

Nice series Jeff. The kestrel is soft but it has a unique look to it, almost as if you added a textured effect in PS.
I am not good with ps but what you see is me working the picture toooo much the kestrel with a little wind moves I will work on another shot from that day .I find it funny how when you look at the picture at home and say the you post it and look and say the go to another computer and look and say :cry :cry :cry pictures really do look a lot diff. from one box to another but then again a great shot looks good most everywhere
