I agree that maybe a little more of the scene......
I really don't have much criticism here. I love all the BW shots on your site. One thing I would recommend however, is that you turn on the Right-click Protect feature in your Gallery Settings - it's too easy for someone to "steal" your work. :yikes
I like this image a lot, but I do wonder, if the bottom 1/3 of the image is really necessary for the success of this image. If it were my image, I MIGHT try cropping out the shadowed 1/3 across the bottom. Might...
Pathfinder, thanks for the feedback, and you raise a very good question. I considered cropping out the bottom 1/5 and decided to leave it as shot. That doesn't mean I was right. I'll give it some more thought.
The first thing I noticed was that the sky is slightly soft and blurry at the top, especially at the top right. I feel this marginally spoils things. If I could offer anything constructive it would be to angle the camera slightly further downwards and capture more, not less, of the interesting ground detail, at the expense of the closer, and more rapidly moving, part of the sky. Or use a shorter exposure time.
However, if I were in your shoes there's no way I would have thought of that at the time, so I still tip my hat to you for creating a wonderful picture.
Cristobal, PGrGr, thanks very much for the comments. I didn't really get to think much with this one. It was a cloudy morning and the sun briefly broke through and lighted this area. It isn't all that it could be, but it has something.

And Cavalier, thanks for the reminder about right-click protection. I just did that.
Please keep in mind that right click protection doesn't protect your work. Yes, it pops up a message - but it's merely a small stumbling block. If a photo is shown in a browser then it is also in the browser cache and can easily be grabbed from there.
I echo all of the above. The conversion is just right and the mix of sky and rock is very appealing. I feel like I could walk right in. I do think a crop of the borrom would make it better. Overall, it's a great shot.

if I lean back, it is mesmerizing!
So wondering if little bit more of the scene was available....
Cheers!
