Hompage slideshow - hide captions and maximise size

I have a slideshow on my home page that displayed images from a collection.
I would like to stop the captions from appearing on the bottom of the images and allow the images to display at original size so they fill the screen vertically. I still want to leave the images in the original galleries set to display size 3XL maximum. Are either of these things possible?
