A Prayer For Peace

I originally took this photo at the Kotel (Wailing Wall) in 2000 on my Pentax ZX-50. I had scanned it and edited it in college on Photoshop 2.0. Since technology has improved vastly since then, I decided to revisit it. I re-scanned the 4x6 print on my new scanner and imported the digital image into Lightroom and Photoshop CC. The result is a much sharper and cleaner image. I only wish I could go back in time with my Canon 5D Mark III

As far as the content goes, not much has changed in Israel since I last left it.

I appreciate the message and the image. Often, B&W give a timelessness quality, I wonder how this image would look as a B&W?

Powerful, sad and ironic. A fine image.

I originally had edited this in black and white but the soldier didn't stand out as much against the textured wall in my opinion. I will process it in bw and post as well.

I had a concern with the tone of the pant and the wall. Good Luck. I hope we all pray for peace.

Strong, powerful image as relevant today as when you shot it.
