Cold Trees

Trudged around the south side of Milwaukee the other week in the cold just before Turkey Day. I've been bringing my slow & clunky (but much loved) Sigma DP1s with me lately. Using the camera is a pain at times, but the images from the Foveon sensor are quite simply amazing.

Can I be a fusspot and ask why you chose to leave so much dark space on the right of the frame? Just makes it feel a teensy bit unbalanced to me.

Great composition and I like the shine on tree bark . I can imagine how hard that would it to capture. Great picture !!!! I would like the trees on the right hand side with space on the left though.

The lake was to the right and a huge light source (home of Summer Fest) was to the left. I liked the contrast between the light & dark I guess.

Thanks, that little Foveon sensor offers a lot of great range to work with.

As always, appreciate the feedback. Yeah the logo is in the way but that's how we gotta roll sometimes.

I guess I could have adjust for the light and re-framed but as noted earlier I liked the contrast.

Since it was mentioned......I like the space on right....in fact believe it was needed......it would be difficult to create the sense of loneliness, which also adds to the part of being frigig, that artist wanted.
