Well, I'm going to post this even though there is no comparison to the other great shots here. I wish it was sharper but I'll have my tripod the next time.

    Very tough to get sharp shots at that distance, but the composition and the lighting are very nice!

    Thanks for the comments. Met a guy today that had a 600mm with a 2X converter on his Canon. I looked through it onece and saw the hawk he was photographing, I could barely see it with the naked eye . I doubt that I'll ever be satisfied with my 70-300mm (Sigma) again.

    When he told me he sold his second car to get the lens, I knew it was out of my league....I only have one car.
