#3 - nice light, but cropped a little close for my taste.

And now I will say that if I were taking shots of this area, they would be average photos of some nice rocks. Your shots are outstanding.

Thanks very much to all of you. This was probably the tenth time I've photographed this spot, mostly with disposable results. Persistence helps.

I really like number two and three. I think you nailed the sunset and colors! I know the area and this is what it looks like. The first one is good as well with that just so sunset coloring on the mountains before the rich warm sunset hits the boulders. I may have brought out a little more color with the grass in the foreground but for the purists this works wonderfully in my opinion �� and I think I may have encountered a snake or two during the warmer months… Just saying...��

Thanks very much, Denise. Eia, these were sunrise shots, and there's no way I'd climb to this spot in the dark during snake season. It's about as snaky looking an area as I know of.

Great colors clap . Great composition, focus, clarity !!! My favorite is 2 .Although I do wish there were clouds.
