Water In Motion.

Driving through Smokey Mountain National Park there are wondeful rushing streams running along the road most of the way.

I took the oportunity to photograph the moving water when ever we stopped to look.

Here are a few of them.

    awesome photos. i like 1 and 2. do you need a certain filter to help block out the sun while you have the "semi-long" exposure runningheadscratch.gif

    It depends on the amount of available light. On a day like I had, heavy grey skys, snowy, drizzle, etc, stopping the lens down to f/16 or smaller was enough to give me the slower shutter speeds I wanted.

    On a bright or sunny day a neutral density filter would be required to make it work.

    They are available in different strengths, and can be stacked to get the shutter speed you are looking for.

    Beautiful shots!!! I like them all, but the 2nd one is my favorite.
