It's scenes like this that keep me going back to the Taylor Park, CO area year after year. (19 years so far, and about 58 trips in that time)

It's not rare to witness awesome scenes like this there. You just need to be there, hopefully with camera ready.

    Gorgeous shot, Pard. I know all about the pull that a certain region can have on somebody. Like you and Taylor Park, I'm equally entranced with the Southern Appalachians. During the 30+ years I've been going up there, I figure that the total time spent cruising those back roads comes to about 2 and 1/2 years. Maybe we're both sick....but what a way to go.

    I understand the sickness--that's why so many of my shots are from Maine. Beautiful scene and capture, Randy. It should be on a mag cover!

    I really like how the two colors really compliment this shot. Almost exaggerating (in a good way) the relationship between the foreground and background.
    The river also makes me like it more, probably would be lacking without it.
