Making a GALLERY to share photos via HTML and not SWF?

Is it possible to 'show off' a gallery using html code without using any shockwave elements? It's kind of annoying to try to embed a gallery into a website only having to run into the shockwave incompatibility issues on the mobile device.

If you are, take a look at leftquark's post to ...announce that we have an HTML5 version of the embeddable slideshow.
You can see an example of this slideshow (plus notes on setting it up) at http://blog.aaronmphotography.com/2014/10/24/smugmug-html-5-slideshow/.
If you have questions about this I'd suggest posting in the thread that contains the announcement.

What I'm asking for is a gallery that doesn't use FLASH. I know how to embed the gallery offered by SM, but what I'm asking for is a way to make a non-flash based gallery that can be EMBEDDED. Is that possible to do on SmugMug? The normal galleries work without flash when accessed via phone but not when embedded.
Kind of annoying I had to look for it through the forum and wasn't able to just click on a link to make a code on SM. Thanks Denise. (also odd you're the one to reply and not a SM person)
Agreed -- we're doing a soft roll-out of it and will incorporate it into the product at some point in the future.
