Easiest way to get cosplayers to pose is on their way in, anyway.
I've not paid for my admission in, probably, 3 years now. My sessions typically sell out booking me for the whole weekend with ~20 minute breaks between sessions.

I'd suggest to try to get a bit more of a costume into the frame next time

I got some full costume shots but with the crowds a "half body" style portrait was the easiest to get
