caption in lightbox

I have tried to always show and center my image caption in smugmugs lightbox using the css on: http://www.sherlockphotography.org/Customisations/Lightbox-captions

The caption show ok, but it isn't centered.

And how can I move the caption closer to the image? Like the attached image.

The image you tried to attach isn't showing up Could you send us a link to your site as an example so we can whip up some CSS code for you?
