This is a shot taken on Christmas day, from the bedroom window of my log cabin, whilst on holiday in Scotland over Christmas.

Interesting!
from Wiki:-
"The mountain was named by John Burns, a Scot who settled on the west side of the ridge in 1851. Burns named the mountain after one in Scotland. Ben Lomond means "beacon peak" in Gaelic. Burns became one of the first vintners in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and is usually also credited with naming the community of Bonny Doon".
