    I used a Canon 20D with a Canon 17-40 f/4L lens and a Heliopan circular polarizer. Shot at f/8 with ISO 100.

    Thanks everyone. Yes, I played around with B&W conversions but I think the colors really work with this shot. I was also surprised with how neat the reflections look in the partially frozen water.

    Yep, the contrast of the deep blue sky to the brown grass makes the pic. The relections in the ice really completes the scene. I'm thinking more and more that I really have to get one of these circular polarizers!!

    Thanks Roger. I really like the way polarizers work on landscape images. Colors are more vibrant, better glare control, and adjustable reflections! You should definitely get one if you shoot outdoors.
