My website is www.yarnellpics.com.

I want this:

http://www.yarnellpics.com/Scott-Colbath-Photography

To be seen when using just the root address of www.yarnellpics.com. I can't seem to figure out how to do that.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

ETA, my issue seems to be I can't figure out how to add content blocks to my home page. Drag and drop isn't working, or I'm just an idiot (most likely answer).

    You're not an idiot!

When I first started with new smug I had a problem with drag & drop that was browser-specific. It doesn't make any sense, but I could only succeed with my smug site and drag & drop on Internet Explorer. Chrome and Firefox didn't behave. So... it's a long shot, but probably worth a try. Can you try a different browser?

I more or less figured it out, but now I'm trying to figure out if I can auto-size pics on the home page slide show. Most are fine. Some are way too big and pouring over the viewable area.

BTW, any opinions on the page setup (and if you have an answer for the sizing issue, please speak up), are appreciated.

You are using a full-screen background slideshow on your homepage. It will always fill the images to the display size, not fit, so it is recommended that you use photos that are in the same or similar aspect ratio as most modern displays; 16:9 or 3:2 should work fine. Vertical images or panoramas, for example, will be cropped a lot, so I'd advise against using them for this slideshow.

Thanks Annnna. Is there any option I've missed which does not require me to use a 16:9 or 3:2 aspect ratio, but will just size the pic to fit the window, and leave any open space blank?

The Background slideshow will always fill your entire browser window. Because of this, there will always be some cropping of the images in that slideshow, as each viewer may be using a different sized browser window. We'll try to fit as much of the image as possible, but there will be some cropping. At this time, there's not an option to force no-cropping of the images in the background slideshow, sorry! You might try just using a Slideshow content block instead of the background slideshow, which will always display imaged full-frame, with no cropping.

Wow, that's a headfull for me. I'll have to play around some more and see what I can do.

    Thanks,
