We're both falling apart

Yesterday I re-visited a favorite photo site of mine...an auto salvage yard
with a lot of 30s, 40s, and 50s automobiles. I've photographed this one
before, but I have an affinity for it since it was born in the same year
that I was born: 1938. We are both in roughly the same shape, but
I have yet to turn rusty.

A little noisy because I didn't want to use flash and shot hand-held,
but the grain seems rather appropriate for the both of us.

Terrific shot, Tony. I remember the last time you tangled with this beauty. Your accomplishment this time around is equally as good as the last.thumb.gif

Love the Art Deco steering wheel and dashboard. I also love that era's sculpted beauty in automobiles. The grain works well for this one. Great shot, Tony.

Thanks for the comments on this. I have a love affair
going with old cars, and I'm glad to see others appreciate
    the memorialization of their charm.

    Howdy Tony,

Really love this one, I think it's my Favorite one of your.

The Gritty look and feel that the grain gives is perfect for
    the interior to match.

    Very nicely done !!!
    Take care,

I think it's perfect, Tony! The car may not look like it did when the dealer had it but it lets you know it had a full, rich history.

Oh man, I wish I could photograph that, but the way you did it, I feel like I was there. Awesomely done. Love your tasteful treatment in post-processing. 5 out of 5 stars.
