There's a new arrival at the auto salvage yard that I go to.

I don't know if "Lucarelli" is the name of the builder of the fiberglass
body or what, but it looks like it would have been quite a sporty ride.

Maybe Tom will know, but I doubt if this ever appeared at one of those
high class auto shows he frequents.

That's a tough one, Tony. It's obviously some kind of kit car. There have been scads of such things over the years....some with more of a professional pedigree than others. Personally, I've never seen one identified as a Lucarelli before.

Interestingly, I did see a car recently that may hold a clue. There's an Italian company named Lucarelli-Monza that, working with a current model Fiat 500, manufacturers a line of performance goodies that transform the little bugger into a real runner. I saw one recently that had undergone full modification.....an impressive little performer.

Perhaps the car you found was some sort of older alliance project involving that same Italian firm.

    See you,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

It looks like an old Bradley GT kit car. The kits were produced in the 1970s, and designed to fit on the old VW Beetle chassis.
