Small Corsican Mountain Butterfly

When crossing the mountains from the centre to the southwest coast we travelled down a very winding road. Suddenly, we came across this small plateau, with dozens of butterflies feeding on these thistle flowers. They were flying considerable distances between plants and usually moving on after a few seconds. My only chance was to use AF, so out came my 70-300mm.
This was one of the more strikingly-pattered species. I am not sure whether is a Skipper or a small species of Fritillary. I will name it if, I can, at a later stage.
[Edit] Because of the limited Skipper fauna of Corsica, I am going with Mallow Skipper Carcharodus alceae [Edit ends]
EM-1, Olympus ED Digital 70-300mm, AF used. Very harsh, bright sunlight. Images cropped, the second one quite strongly.

Thanks, Brian.
The 4/3 AF lens works quite well on the EM-1. It is a disaster on the EP-2, where I can feel myself ageing as it tries to focus.
