I got very frustrated when trying to photograph the ones in my compost bin. The lens diaphragm got permanently stuck wide open. That was the last straw and I sent it for repair, hopefully to be retuned this week.

Great shots of a very photogenic subject.

Thanks, Brian.
I just received an estimate for the lens repair. When my eyes stopped watering I gave the go-ahead, having seen current prices for a replacement.
