Posing Book and guidelines
Dear all,
I am looking for a book, that would help me start with posing techniques and coaching my models. As I want to start with it easy and improve then I would like something that would teach actually how to avoid the major mistakes. The other time I have been asking one of my models to pose and the pose we got (I found that afterwards) was a feminine one with a masculine model.
How I can start with this complex process by following some simple principles and develop from there?
Any idea would help
Regards
Alex

Joe was the Godfather of posing way back when however the principles of the form remain today. Learn these and you can alter them to fit you current needs. Good Luck. Too many ignore these principles and wonder why their photographs get bad CC.
When posing even for just a head shot start from the ground up. Set the feet, hips etc, you need the base to set the top.

Plus MULTIPLE classes from different photographers/teachers on Creative Live. You can't get better than their offerings. Lindsay Adler and Sue Bryce both offer a lot of basic posing advice, even though they use it within specific genres.
I will read your links later when my daughter goes to bed
