i don't want the red vertical separator line on my mobile site after the OFP logo but i need it on the desktop site. Any workarounds?

How come they never re-enabled the hide mobile site on the new version of smug mug?

I can barely see your logo or the separator line on my large screen monitor - I can't see either on your mobile site. I would recommend making your logo large enough to be seen and just removing the separator line altogether.

I also find dark red against black incredibly difficult to see.

That's really weird I think your browser might be messed up and not showing you the correct size. It looks fine on all my devices and even on my 30" monitor. It's just on my Samsung galaxy the separator comes after the logo and it's just a vertical line. But it looks funny on the desktop version of the site without the seperator

I've looked at your site at home (windows 8.1) on Chrome and at work (Windows 7) on Chrome, Firefox, and IE. In both cases I was using a large monitor. I've included a screen shot below.

Your site is the only one I've noticed with this behavior. If it was a browser problem I would see this on other sites as well.

Hopefully someone else will jump in and take a look.

You can target specific devices with CSS. Here's a starting point - http://www.aaronmphotography.com/Customizations/Sitewide/Screen-Width-Customizations. You will need to add CSS to remove the separator.

    >>> updated later in the day:
I just looked at your page source and the logo image shows with a width of 30px and a height of 75px. That's pretty small.
Note that the screen shot below was taken on a large screen monitor.

On my laptop it also looks like the screenshot Denise posted ... tiny logo / hard to see red on black.
My opinion does not necessarily make it true. What you do with my opinion is entirely up to you.

Thanks for the help guys. It's interesting to see that you can fix this with css. But i took your advice on making the logo bigger and removing the separator line. I guess that was my issue all along I just never realized thats what i should have done. I dunno I don't want my logo to be too invasive. My whole site used to be red text on black and ya its really hard to read that way. But i like that the fact that the red makes the logo even less invasive. I just want people to come to my site and see my pics wile not being a big advertisement. They get plenty of advertising on Facebook and on other sites. Thats why i tried to make my site so minimal.

Minimal is good - but using a logo that is not visible is more than minimal. It appears to me that you are attempting to hide your site identification. Making your logo visible is not advertising; it is identifying your site.

If I see a site that uses colors that are difficult to read my immediate reaction is to close the site.
At least your menu entries are readable.
