He is overjoyed!!:D

Just wondering if anyone has ever used this camera?
Has some real unique features!! Like Eye Controlled Focus.

Nice part is we can share EF mount Glass!

Anyone have input?:dunno

It looks like a pretty nice camera. How does the eye-controlled focus work?ne_nau.gif

I shot a million photos with that camera. It's one of the best I've ever owned. Sold mine on eBay maybe 3 months ago and was sad to do it but don't shoot film anymore.

The eye-controlled autofocus was great! Whatever happened to it?

Got this off DPR Canon forum
Got this from one of the regulars there:

I bought it in about '95 for a vacation trip and used it until I bought my 10D in late '04. It was a very handy mid-range film SLR and served me well for 9 years.
With the eye-control focus, you would calibrate the camera looking at each of the 3 focusing locations, I presume through the differing light reflections from your eye surface. Then, when set in eye control mode, you could look at any of the three locations and the camera would focus at that location.
It was neat to play with, and others report better success, but I didn't have much luck wearing glasses.
