Hi all,
I am at the phase of building my home studio.
I wanted to ask you if a posing stool is needed or I can start with my model standing?
What is the height of such a stool? There are a few with adjustable height... but they tend too cost quite a lot for my "student" home studio project...
What if I buy one that it does not have height adjustment? In that case at what height it should be?
Regards
Alex

The height of the stool is determined by how you are wanting the subject to do with the lower half of the body.
Just go to Walmart or other big box store and buy whatever looks good to you. Usually you can find a simple foldable black metal stool with a cushioned top for under $20. Walmart often has a nice natural finish wooden stool as well.
