Hi everyone ,
I tried putting a picture , my first here , and it has not stopped me from doing so by link. I had to load the file. Why?

A couple of possibilities occur to me: First, check that you have used the [img]tag, not a link tag. Detailed instructions are here:[/img]http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?p=1620122#post1620122

The other possibility is that you don't have external links enabled in the host gallery on SmugMug. Check your gallery settings.

I looked at your post. Looks like you need to enable sharing for the images in that directory. Then use the image tags and embed the URL for the image between them.

I have to check the configuration of smugmug , I have no idea where is this option . I am a rookie !

Take a look at this help page - http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93260-how-do-i-post-my-photos-in-forums-and-blogs-. It shows the required settings in SmugMug.

Once you have the correct URL, use the image button (looks like a landscape) in dgrin and paste in the code.
