Trees in the Fog

Went out to the local refuge and took more photos of trees than wildlife although there are some birds in the trees. There's some Sandhill Cranes in the background on a few of those.

5D, 70-200 f/4L, ISO 100, f/11, 1/40 sec

Nice set! #4 is most appealing to me. Perhaps the sensation of 2 sentries posted at the entrance of fog city is what excites me!

I like these and I am a lover of all mist/fog. 1, 2 and 4 are my favorites over all. 2 has a sense of loneliness. I like 1...lonely but the birds on top of the tree give it a hint of life!

I too love fog/mist and #1 is my favorite with the birds in the tree top. Can't tell you how many times I traveled from the foothills down to the Merced Wildlife Refuge only to be greeted by fog. You've done a great job using the fog to your advantage with these shots.

Wonderful setthumb. I have a couple of trees scoped out for some images like these, just waiting for some fog.

I've been waiting to see fog so I could shoot! I'm not really a wildlife shooter, so seeing the fog is a dream for me.

Just wish we had more water... :cry
