Downloading Original Image
I want to allow family and friends to download selected photos, (and sometimes entire galleries), in their original, hi res form. I have set the 'Maximum Display Size' to 'original' and have turned the 'Right-click Protected' to 'OFF'. According to my daughter, the images are still down loading in lo res. Can you help????

To get the full image downloaded there are two options:
- Use the download button
- Display the Original image by clicking on image sizes in lightbox, selecting O, then doing a right click save.
I'd recommend using the download button.Requesting a download of a full gallery is available to you as the gallery owner. Once the link is supplied to you it can be passed on to others to use.

When you have the original display size allowed and right click protection off a download icon will appear to your logged out guests. As the logged in account owner you will always see the icon. The icon may be more or less visible depending on your gallery style. For example, you would need to view an image in the lightbox to see the download icon for a collage or thumbnail style gallery but, it will appear below EVERY image in Journal style and below every main image in SmugMug style.
You can see what the download icon looks like and how it works here: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93266
And, you can use the download all option when logged in as the account owner. We will generate zip files of the all of the images in your gallery which you can then share with others. The zip file links will remain active for 2 weeks. You can see more about this feature here: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93331
While I didn't see a link to your account I noticed that you've been a dgrin member for years so, in case you're still using old SmugMug here are the links that explain the above features but, that are specific to old SmugMug:
