These birds have some funky looking beaks. I still not been able to capture one Skimming but I hope to one day.

Unless you see the beak straight on you really don't notice just how thin it is.

Wow, really different looking bird. I've never seen one before and I rather like it. What exactly does a skimmer do - skim the top of the water with his lower beak to catch a meal? Great series.
