Owned this lens for less than a year before switching to Sony. There are small scratches on the lens collar.

Sorry, but I have no interest in your lens because I have comparable
lenses already. But, I would appreciate some information about your
experience with a non-VC long lens.

What type of photography have you been doing with it? How
much of a problem, if any, do you have with motion blur when
using shutter speed of 1/250th ?

I'm asking because a friend who shoots Little League baseball
is thinking about a x-200 lens that is non-VC.

There is definitely a challenge when not shooting closer to 1/250th, I primarily shoot weddings, products and models.

Products and model shoots are fine, but weddings did take a bit of finesse, although if you take the time to train your steady hand you should not see too much of a problem when shooting at 1/250th. Of course, anything below that will probably suffer from blurring.
