We had driven up a road with many many hairpin bends and found a rather dry area, at high altitude, with quite a variety of flowers. I found this one, often more or less hidden in the tangle of short perenniels, irresistable.

I tried to minimise the processing of this image, to preserve the delicate texture of the flowers. I don't know whether this is an Anthyllis species or maybe Astragalus hamosus.
