My intent was to make one wonder what the heck when they saw it. Sort of a cross been post-apocalyptic and not quite steampunk. The boot underneath in total black, and the AR to her side kind of bug me after the fact. I really worked hard on the lighting but somehow missed the lighting!
I think what you are worried about (the boot and the AR) make the shot a little more interesting - they actually add to the atmosphere. I like the pose and the lighting. Maybe cropped just a little too centered for my taste (I'd like to see a little more of the deck and airstream on the right), but love it just the same.

A good example of how we (all?) like different things
Agree re first half of comments, but not re cropping - I think there's a square (or nearly so) crop here ...removing image from right, top and bottom ... apart from losing stuff like the bg above the roof and extra floor, it might add a bit of ambiguity to the airstream ... ie 'is it some something other than what it actually is?'
