    Nice captures Eric. Nice composition. Looks like the lighting was kinda harsh, but we can't control the sun.

    Thanks everyone. Yes, the lighting was not optimal but what can you do when that's the only time you can take a break! rolleyes1.gif

    Anyway, I appreciate the comments. I don't take a lot of bird pictures but I really like it and want to take more so I can improve.

    I see you live in So. Cal, at which park did you take these beautiful photos? I took some photos this weekend at Balboa Lake.

    I keep going back to that second one Erich. The light and the colors are so soothing. I'd be printing that one.

    Hi Sandy,

    I'm on business travel in Boulder, CO. Took this shot at the East Boulder Community Park.

    When I'm home I like to go to the Bolsa Chica reserve. There are also some wetlands around Newport.

    Did you post some of your Balboa lake shots? I've never been there....
