Confirmation required though, Brian, Harold.

Actually found on the underside of a piece of the rockery stone, but it didn't move to far when I turned the stone into a position for the camera angle.


Gnat, midge, or cranefly? About ¾inch long from tip of the head to the end of the wings.

I agree, with reservations. A side view would have helped but I think there is more for cranefly than against.
