How much accurate white balance?

Hello all,
I have started using grey cards in my home studio as a starting point to correct color reproduction.
I wanted to ask you though how crazy I should become?

I have noticed that any time I change my light source the reading I get from my grey card fluctuates around 100-200... Is this something to really worry about or I can just sync all my files with one of the readings I do at the beginning?

I would like to thank you for your reply
Regards
Alex

That's pretty standard. When you move your lights, the light bouncing around the room picking up colors plus the affect from ambient lights may change to a small degree. A change of 100 or 200 degrees is barely noticeable. I always err on the side of going warmer with skin tones, so my advice is to use the higher number.

Don't even worry about this! There are far more issues to concentrate on.
