With all the other discussions going on, I thought I'd take this moment for a quick diversion.
These are some shots from Fort Point which is tucked under the south end of the Golden Gate Bridge. It's a fun place to visit.
I welcome your feedback and comments (good or bad).
Thanks,
Mike

As an aside, I believe there is an interesting story of how Fort Point was saved during the bridge construction. When building the bridge, the chief engineer (Joseph Strauss) wanted to save the fort that was scheduled for demolition. A previous effort to save the fort had failed due to lack of funding. Rumor has it that Strauss convinced the money-men that he would earthquake proof the bridge by building the arch that now sits over the fort, and thereby saving the fort from destruction.

We also have a coffee table book about the building of the bridge and there's some very interesting history there. I seriously doubt that we could pull off a similar feat today.
Thanks again,
Mike

And yet this is the first time I've been there in years. I think it's partly due to the hours it's open and the fact that it's right next to the bridge.
Thanks!

I actually tried a couple in B&W and liked them too, but I was initially drawn to the colors. I'll have to upload the B&W's and share those when I get a chance.
Thanks,
