Slideshow placement at the top vs centered

Does anyone know if there is a way to have photos appear centered at the top of a slideshow instead of the center, without having to create a slideshow that is sized to fit all images? That is, if you look at my home page (jdnphotos.smugmug.com), a slideshow appears. I want the images as large as possible to fill the 1400 pixel fixed width. I am not concerned with images that are not quite that wide (e.g., vertical portraits), but with the panos that do fit the width but appear centered with the center of the page versus lined up at the top of the slideshow. Is there a way to do this? I asked Smugmug support as was told not at this time. Other than scaling the slideshow down to fit all images, I simply want them to line up at the top of the slideshow versus the vertical center. Thank you in advance.
