Or am I months behind this news? I can't find anything about it.

I just searched for plans, looks like the same 4 plans exist - http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/695839-which-plan-is-right-for-me-.

But oh! there is something odd here.

When I go to the comparison of price levels page at http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/138753-where-can-i-see-a-comparison-of-account-levels- I see 4 levels, but when I follow the "click here" link on that page I am taken to http://www.smugmug.com/features which only shows 3 levels.

I'm imagining them updating the home page first and worrying about help files etc later.. Seems to be the norm.

Funny thing was, chrome had the original page cached, so I had 2 browsers showing different stuff for awhile.

We occasionally test different prices, plans, and promotions. This one is a temporary change to see if simplifying the Pro plans is a better experience for new customers who may be unsure which plan is right for them.

So $200 a year for all the Pro features just for new customers during this temporary change? Is that indefinitely just for them?

Yes, that is what we are currently testing and it is just a temporary promotion for new customers.

So new Pro customers will be paying $200 a year indefinitely? Or just their 1st year only? (It doesn't state the price will go up)

While current Business customers will continue to pay $300 a year indefinitely?

Yes, we absolutely need more clarification on this issue.

• Are all plans except Basic considered 'Pro' plans?
• How will Portfolio price be affected for 'old' customers?

The current promotion applies to new customers only and will not affect any current ('old') customers or their plans.
