sorry I know this is not for this forum...but no answer at the correct one

When uploading image galleries how long do they take. Mine take forever.
Loaded 900 images yester day....18 hours later at just over 700 loaded.
16 and 24 megapixel images....this is pretty normal for my downloads.

Is this normal for everyone else?

For an answer to your question you must first find someone
else who loads 900 images at a time and times the action.

this heavily depends on your ISP and upstream restrictions.
My ISP throttles upload speeds after certain mb/gb ratio per session is achieved.

More information would help. Is this a SmugMug site? If so how do you get 16-24 MB files? full rez jpg from my 5D II are in the 3-6Mb range. (I might even remember 10MB, or not)

I just checked my speed from CA to Washington DC and have about 12 megabytes download speed and 1.5 megabytes upload speed.

At first glance it looks like you have a slow internet connection. You may hate the cable co, but they have the fastest internet speeds I am aware of.

Doing the math I should be able to down load your files in under 3 hours.

yeah I think it is my internet connection.
I was sent some tests to use to find out by Smugmug.
