Hi there. This is my first post and I'm still learning, so I'm a little nervous! This is a shot I took with my Nikon D70 and the kit lens. I should get my Nikkor 60mm Micro next week and then the fun can really begin! I hope I can get anywhere near as good as some of the people on this forum :D

    Hi Brett wave.gif

That's a great shot, really loving the soft green bokeh. Delicious! (just wish the bee's head was more in focuse - it must have been digging a little too deep into the flower)

Nice Capture Brett. Great first post. As It said would be better with the head in focus.

Welcome! Great first post and nice macro. Nice to see a good flower & bug macro when it's cold and gray in Pennsylvania!

    Your profile . . . Trinidad and Tobago . . . really!

Hey everyone in cold climates, Let's have a dgrin shootout at Brett's place - tomorrow!!! thumb.gif

Thanks John - you'd be more than welcome! Just to rub it in, this is my son on a typical weekend! The only problem is trying to decide what kind of rum to have!! :D

Holy macro! Nice first post! Good job with the kit lens. These are tough shots to make. Looking forward to some shots with your new macro lens. thumb.gif
