Watermark size

Is there some easy way of adjusting this? Mine always seems to end up huge! I tried reducing the resolution of my watermark and it just ended up stretching it (and therefore it looked worse). I've also tried adding empty space to the side of it but I assume empty space is just ignored as it didn't seem to make a difference. I'd ideally like a fairly small watermark, rather than one that covers half the photo and I presume I'm missing something fairly obvious!

    Hi Tom,

I had a look at the watermarks in your Account Settings and didn't find one that appeared larger than expected or stretched. Is there a specific watermark that is troubling you? I may have overlooked it. The dimensions of the image will determine the size of the watermark. There is not a way to scale images within the Watermark Manager.

Feel free to send a note to the Help Desk help@smugmug.com and we can take a closer look.

It looks OK when setting it on the preview but then seems bigger when actually applied to pictures. I'll have another fiddle around with it! I got rid of the small one that was being stretched and distorted which is why you don't see that one I suppose! :)

Hi Tom, have you tried adding more transparency (vertical & horizontal) to your watermark? This should stop it having to stretch.

You might have to play with different dimensions to get it to the size and position you require.

Yep, that's what I'm going to do! I'll give it a go tonight!
