This is soooo much like I want to shoot my friends. I think it's a wonderful set, especially the last one which brings out the personal side of her instead of the hard side.
Thanks for the kind words, Scott. I used a gridded beauty dish for the main light, and two gridded strip boxes for kickers in back. For the headshot, I repositioned the beauty dish and used a reflector for fill.
Nice shots! On the last one I would have liked to see it with maybe 1-2cm less closely cropped on the right side and the bottom. That's maybe just me though, things irritate me when they're too close to the edge!
Love all of them except for the first one, dead eyes. Your use of lighting to sculpt the body is just excellent. These should really grab you some attention. Funny, when I first glanced at the name the Joel G my brain first hit on Joel Grimes.

Charles, Yeah, that lighting that made the muscles pop so nicely doesn't reach into the eyes. Maybe I'll add some catchlights in post.
And yes, people often confuse me with "that other Joel G". (In my dreams, lol).
