Visiting Bath (Somerset. England)
Two weeks ago I went to London to meet old friends, and they offered me to visit Bath, a very interesting and photogenic city, declared UNESCO World Heritage.
I only stayed there a few hours, but I took many shots that I want to share with you.
(Feedback is very welcome :thumb )
1. Pulteney Bridge: this bridge reminded me in some way the Ponte Vecchio in Florence.
2. The Circus, a circular space with interesting emblems
3. The Royal Crescent, a simple but magnificent building.
4. The Bath Abbey, with a beautiful facade and an outstanding gothic fan vaulting over the nave.
(A detail of the Angels "Stairway to Heaven")
(The impressive main door)
(And the interior)
5. The Roman Baths
(Gorgon's Head)
The last image I want to share with you is named "Romans vs Punkies"... ;-)
