seconding labster, all are great pics, but 2 & 5 really excel. #5 is very peaceful, and also proud. HNY!

Thanks JR. I actually tried a close crop on him but wasn't happy with the result. Perhaps if I had set it up differently with no background interference, it might have worked. A little better lighting and I would've gone BW on him too. There's always "next" time.

Angelo. I think #5 works just great the way it is. I think the fact that the woman has almost the same expession adds to the photograph. I also think it screams BW and did a quick conversion and it looks great IMHO.

#5 is my personal favorite, peaceful and content comes to my mind.

I love it the way it is, don't change it, its great and so are the others.

I'm certain you could do a great conversion. I actually didn't dislike my conversion (technique) I just think the photo (as is) is warmer and better in color.

Stylistically, I think if I had captured him in a more stoic setting I might like BW. He does have a great face, huh?
