save changes dialog pops between sections in account settings > no changes made, IE11

I'm seeing a problem in Account Settings that (I believe) started happening very recently.

I am using a computer with a touch screen (although I am not using touch, it is there) running Windows 8.1.

The problem occurs only on IE11.
Firefox and Chrome are fine.

When the problem started occurring I logged out of smug, cleared the browser cache, closed and reopened the browser, logged back into smug.

The problem?
Every time I click to a different section in Account settings I am presented with a Save Changes dialog box - even though I have not made any changes.

When I click cancel to leave account settings I am told I have unsaved changes.

I have not made any changes and should not see these dialog boxes.

It's a browser issue with IE that engineers are aware of. Our engineers will look into this and work towards a solution. I cannot speak to a time frame but it is on their radar. In the meantime, the other browsers such as Chrome will work just fine.
