tweaking the over all look

Hi Im trying to tweak the overall look and feel Im not quite sure how to go about it.
I would like all the images to be bigger and filling up most of the width as possible. I want the rectangle look to be a fixed size for all the pages, similar to my old site if possible. And I would like to make tweaks to it down the road if need be. I thought it was in layout. when I went in there I mad it worse.. :dunno can you help me make this site a little cooler and more symmetrical.

You might need to be a bit more specific on what you want. Asking for help to make the 'site a little cooler' is quite difficult as that's obviously a bit subjective!

Currently the site is a bit custom and Im loving it, I just need to make a couple of tweaks to it. Is there where I should be? Someone directed me here.

you can set your site to fixed instead of stretchy but that doesn't reference the height. I'm not aware of a way to set a fixed height for your site.

Given that you have no control over the type of device used to view your site I'm not sure that a fixed height would provide a good viewing experience.

I'm not 100% sure it's what you want but you can set the height so it stretches to fit the screen but as Denise has said I'm not sure you can set a fixed height of a certain number of pixels...
