    gef (what is your name BTW?) Sorry, I didn't mean to drop a bomb and run...

    When I made the "scary" comment I was referring to the way your niece's eyes pop and almost "glow" in your original post. Very ghost-like, at least on my monitor. I think you're having a really good time experimenting with post processes and hope you're learning much but sometimes you have to trust your photos are good without a lot of post "effects"

    I tend to overdo--too much contrast, too much color, etc.--

    you're right and I appreciate you pointing it out--

    enjoyed being on dg yesterday and learned much--

    Well there are plenty of talented, helpful people here who can help you learn more. DavidTO comes to mind, as well as Rutt (and others) who know much, much more than I about PS.

    frankly, those two that you mentioned really out to collaborate on some type of ps book--

    and yes, much talent here who are extremely helpful--
