I have a black and white gallery and when I upload photos to it, the site darkens it. I cant find anywhere in customization/gallery settings to change this. the images can look quite crappy with the site changing it. how can i STOP this from happening.

never mind. apparently sm doesnt care to, or is able to, fix the issue. someone else has/had same issue for like 2 years now.

I had to disable the Firefox color profile many versions ago otherwise I lost all detail in the dark areas.
At least that is what I think it's called.

Allen, thanks for the tip. I will check that out tomorrow, heading for bed now lol. Yes, i use FF, so this could be the issue.

Seems to be only an issue with my sm site tho. Forums, flickr, etc this isnt an issue. But i will try it just to exhaust all possibilities.

    Thanks again Allen.

Trouble is, you changed the settings for your browser but probably none of your visitors have.
